Containers

I love containers and I ended up making three Mikki Ferrugiaro celebration tins, two with pastel matte beads and one Christmas tin with glossy beads in Christmas colors. The layering of peyote over peyote adds to the appeal of these tins. While working with containers I did some bead work over different bottles.

Container “Lotus” from Julia Pretti class.

I really enjoyed making this container in a class with Julia, I think the mate beads add to the design, using the glossy finish bead as the border adds as well.

I experiment with beaded bottles that support themselves to see how tall and detailed they can and hold their shape. All have worked so I am not sure where the limit is, but I am enjoying having these bottles to play with.

I always carry these waterproof pill bottles in my purse.

This is my first bottle that I beaded. The face book group seed beads and more hosted a bottle bead along and I started this bottle. It was the beginning of many bottles and containers that I made. I particularly like to make bottles that can be self sustaining and I have made a few and may one day write up the pattern for them.
