Beaded Sphere Designs

Spheres have always intrigued me and early in my beading career I took to covering spheres with beads. When my daughter was engaged I felt the need to add to the wedding with beads so I got permission from her to make beaded balls as a wedding favor for the guests. Her colors were chocolate brown purple and ivory. I made about 150 beaded balls that were placed on the dining tables. They were a big hit with the guests and a few guests asked to take an extra one home with them. Now when I visit friends many of the houses have a beaded ball sitting on the shelves.

Sphere modified to be a balloon made for a breast cancer patient, as a lift me up. I am so very thrilled with the progress doctors have made in treating breast cancer. My friend is through all the procedures and is cancer free, what a blessing.

I found a large glass vase and immediately I wanted to fill it with beaded snow balls, this turned out to be a giant task. I started by making many varieties of beaded balls using white, Chrystal and blue as pictured.
